Who is Lincan Ensemble?

Founded in 2003 by renowned Romanian cimbalom virtuoso Giani Lincan, Lincan Ensemble was born out of a bold artistic vision and a new beginning in the Netherlands. Shortly after settling there, Giani Lincan introduced his music to a new audience, quickly gaining recognition for his exceptional talent and distinctive sound.

Thanks to his remarkable mastery of the cimbalom and his deep musicality, Giani Lincan and his ensemble have shared the stage with some of the most respected names in the international music scene, including Gregor Șerban, Tata Mirando, Stochelo Rosenberg, Fapy Lafertin, Roby Lakatos, Vladimir Cosma, Tchavolo Schmitt, Biréli Lagrène, and many others. These collaborations highlight not only their versatility, but also their status as top-tier performers in their genre.
Lincan Ensemble has been featured on Dutch radio and television and has performed at numerous concerts and festivals both in the Netherlands and internationally. Over the years, they have built a strong and loyal audience, with fans following their work across various platforms.
