Music project - Lincan Ensemble
Lincan Ensemble invites you to discover its latest musical project: “Musical Journey.”
- A captivating artistic concept that brings back to life nearly forgotten musical treasures — traditional melodies on the verge of disappearing, gathered from the Balkan region and beyond: Romania, Hungary, Russia, Turkey, Bulgaria, and the Czech Republic.
- Each piece carries an authentic story, reflecting the joys, longings, and hardships of people from past eras. Through these performances, the audience is invited on a fascinating imaginary journey, crossing borders and cultures through the power of music.
- Lincan Ensemble embraces the mission of reviving these true musical gems and passing them on to today’s and future generations. While preserving their original essence, the melodies are reimagined through modern orchestral arrangements, giving them new life on stage.
- The repertoire blends lyrical and dance pieces, virtuosic works, themes with variations, and diverse influences — Romani, Jewish, and Oriental — into a rich and emotionally engaging performance.
- “Musical Journey” is not just a concert, but an artistic experience that transports you through time and tradition, into an authentic soundscape brought to life with passion by Lincan Ensemble.
